Basic Health Guidelines for weight loss for the average adult, this is something to consider when choosing a personal chef program whether it be ours or someone else.
- The average adult should consume four to six meals a day.
- The average adult should consume three quarts of water per day this helps to improve metabolic function.
- Carbohydrates should consist of sixty percent of total caloric intake for the day.
- Your majority of carbohydrate calories should come from fruits and vegetables whole grains and fiber, try to refrain from refined grains and simple sugars.
- Adequate consumption of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates spread throughout the day.
- Remember weight loss cannot occur unless there are more calories being expelled then consumed (Law of Thermodynamics)
- So we highly recommend at least thirty minutes of low to mid-level intensity exercise (any cardiovascular activity will do).
